On the morning of January 17, at Suoi Dau Industrial Park (Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province), a working delegation of leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) visited and wished a Happy New Year to workers in Khanh Hoa province.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly as head of the delegation; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and nearly 500 workers and laborers.
On behalf of the Party, the State, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh kindly visited and presented 200 Tet gifts to 200 union members and workers facing difficulties working at enterprises in Suoi Dau Industrial Park. Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND - including a Tet gift bag worth 300,000 VND and 1 million VND in cash.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Confederation of Labor and other units also presented 290 Tet gifts to support workers, each worth 1 million VND, to encourage and motivate workers and their families to have a warm Tet.
Sharing with workers, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh was excited about the results of the Trade Unions at all levels in taking care of Tet for workers, civil servants, laborers, union members as well as protecting the legal and legitimate rights of union members and laborers in the area.
This affirms that the Trade Union organization is truly a reliable and solid support in representing union members and workers.
Mr. Dinh also hopes that the gifts from the leaders of the Party, State, Trade Union and Khanh Hoa province given to workers and laborers today, although not worth much, will be a timely source of encouragement and help workers and their families have a happier and warmer Tet holiday.
