Emulation cluster No. 2 - Confederation of Labor of the Red River Delta provinces includes the Confederations of Labor of the provinces: Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Bac Giang.
On November 23, Mr. Le Quang Toan - Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, representative of Emulation Cluster No. 2, said that in 2024, the Federation of Labor of the provinces in the cluster had newly established 360 grassroots trade unions, 10 trade unions, and developed 96,710 new union members.
Of which, Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor established 88 grassroots unions; admitted 12,170 new union members; Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor established 60 new grassroots unions, 3 trade unions, admitted 18,785 new union members; Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor established 66 new grassroots unions, admitted 42,200 new union members, 3 grassroots trade unions with 90 union members; Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor established 50 new grassroots unions, 4 trade unions, developed 18,099 new union members; Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor established 96 enterprise-based trade unions with 16,344 union members; 3 grassroots trade unions with 67 union members.
The work of perfecting, arranging, and assigning cadres, implementing cadre regimes and policies, and training and retraining trade union cadres in 2024 has been focused on by the Standing Committees of the Provincial Federations of Labor. In 2024, members of the Emulation Cluster organized professional training on specialized topics for over 30,000 trade union cadres. Proactively advised on the development of a training project for grassroots trade union cadres in enterprises. Coordinated with the Trade Union University and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's Center for Training and Retraining of Trade Union Cadres to organize professional training for trade union cadres.
The work of training and introducing outstanding union members for admission to the Party has been focused on by the Provincial Federations of Labor. Focusing on discovering, training and introducing advanced and core union members in enterprises and units outside the state sector. In 2024, trade unions at all levels trained, introduced and admitted 7,169 outstanding union members to the Party.
