On March 26, the Tuy Phong Garment Factory Union in Binh Thuan province announced that it had donated money from union members and workers to Ms. P.T.B.T, a garment setter. Ms. T is a single mother raising a young child, a poor household in Binh Thanh commune.
During a periodic health check-up, Ms. T was diagnosed with a serious illness, but due to difficult economic conditions, she did not have enough money for surgery. sympathizing with her situation, the Executive Committee of Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union launched a fundraising campaign to call for support from colleagues.
The amount of money donated is 76,010,000 VND, helping her have more money for treatment and to cope with her illness.

Previously, in September 2024, the Executive Committee of Tuy Phong Garment Trade Union also mobilized all union members and workers at the facility to donate to help 3 cases of workers in difficult circumstances who had accidents to have treatment costs. The total amount is 145,730,000 VND. The grassroots union has awarded 72,865,000 VND to the case of worker L.T.Q.T, awarded 36,432,500 VND to worker L.T.Th and 36,432,500 VND to worker B.T.M.N.
