Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Dinh Thi Dao - President of the Hoa Lu City Labor Federation, said that this year's Workers' Month was held with the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneer in entering a new era".
During Workers' Month (from January 1-31,), trade unions at all levels in the city will deploy and organize many extensive activities, closely linked to activities on the Workers' Month for Safety and Hygiene, contributing to promoting the role of workers in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, developing the socio-economy.
Focus on activities to affirm the role of the Vietnam Trade Union organization as a representative in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, creating spiritual motivation and a vibrant competitive spirit, in order to successfully achieve the set targets.
"The organization of the month to raise the awareness and responsibility of the whole society in taking care of and improving the life and working conditions for employees. At the same time, honoring and promoting the role of the Vietnamese working class in the new development period of the country" - Chairman of Hoa Lu City Labor Federation emphasized.
On this occasion, the Hoa Lu City Labor Federation presented 40 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in the area and presented 7 bicycles to children of workers in difficult circumstances... At the same time, received support gifts from units and enterprises to give to workers in difficult circumstances in the city during Workers' Month.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Hoa Lu City Labor Federation organized cultural and sports activities, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate, creating a joyful, united and cohesive atmosphere among workers. Also within the framework of the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2025, the Hoa Lu City Labor Federation has coordinated with a number of units and distributors to organize booths to sell discounted goods to workers.
