With that important significance, according to Mr. Nhan, in addition to promoting the highest measures and practical care actions in May, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones will continue to maintain the spirit of Workers' Month regularly throughout the year.
Responding to that spirit, on behalf of the employer, Ms. Phung Thi Ly Ngoc - Deputy Head of Accounting Department of Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company affirmed: The company always considers workers as valuable assets and identifies occupational safety and hygiene as one of the important contents in the production and business plan.
Therefore, for many years, the Company has always identified and considered: "Safe for production, safe production" as the basic criterion for the unit's production and business activities and preventing remote labor accidents; before assigning work to workers.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones presented many gifts demonstrating practical care for workers, such as: 8 Trade Union Shelters and Charity Houses with a total amount of 450 million VND from the Dong Thap Golden Heart Social Charity Fund and socialization; presented 25 gifts to union members with especially difficult family circumstances, those who have had work accidents (1,000,000 VND/gift) and 21 gifts mobilized by the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones (500,000 VND/gift). And all union members and workers attending the launching ceremony received many gifts from the 0 VND Booth with a total value of nearly 50 million VND.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones also received many sponsorships from 5 units and enterprises to organize care for union members and workers such as general health screening; gynecological examination... with a total value of 500 million VND.
At the same time, the Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor "Having outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization" in 2024 was awarded to the Trade Union of Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company and a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the Trade Union of Nghi Phong Joint Venture Company.
