The People's Committee of Dong Thap province held a launching ceremony for Labor Safety and Hygiene Month and Workers' Month 2025 on April 21.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh - Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF), along with representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, enterprises and more than 500 cadres, union members, and workers.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh - Director of the Department of Home Affairs emphasized that in recent times, in response to the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month and Workers' Month, the province has focused a lot of resources and organized activities to attract a large number of individuals and organizations to participate.
Specific actions are aimed at taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, thereby helping workers actively compete, work creatively, and pioneer in performing tasks in sectors and fields, contributing to the successful implementation of political goals and tasks and socio-economic development of the province. This effort contributes to stabilizing the lives and reducing difficulties for union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh suggested that the Provincial Federation of Labor continue to direct grassroots trade unions to coordinate with enterprises to organize activities in response to the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month and Workers' Month in 2025 in accordance with the unit's conditions, with the motto " Strong enterprises - smart workers".
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - shared that in response to the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month and Workers' Month in 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era", trade unions at all levels in the province focus on implementing many key contents.
