On July 23, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor organized a working delegation to visit and present gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances of Hwaseung Rach Gia Company Limited (Thanh Loc Industrial Park, Thanh Loc Commune); Kim Diep Trading Company Limited, Kien Giang Mechanical Joint Stock Company (Rach Gia Ward); Huy Nam Company Limited, Kien Giang Trading Joint Stock Company (Tac Cau Fishing Port Area, Binh An Commune).
This is a practical and meaningful activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025). Thereby demonstrating the concern and support of the Trade Union organization for employees, creating motivation to encourage and motivate union members and employees to work productively, effectively and increasingly attached to the enterprise.
At each place visited, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh kindly visited the lives and work of union members and workers; visited the production and business situation of companies and enterprises.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has also paid attention to and supported each place to visit 20 gifts (each worth 1 million VND in cash) for union members in difficulty, those who have had work accidents, or occupational diseases.
The representatives of the company's trade unions also shared that, with the attention and support of the provincial Federation of Labor, the support and facilitation of the company's Board of Directors; The Executive Board of the trade union will also strive to further fulfill the functions and tasks of the trade union organization to be a bond between employees and employers; improve production and business efficiency, and improve the lives of employees.
Also in today's series of activities, the delegation visited and handed over the Trade Union Shelter to union member Mai Thi Thieu (Union of An Giang Newspaper and Radio and Television Station) residing in Thanh Hung Hamlet, Thanh Loc Commune; union member Hua Van Phuoc (Union of Kien Hung Joint Stock Company) residing in An Binh Hamlet, Binh An Commune.
Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh said: In the current difficult conditions as well as storms and natural disasters, it is very meaningful and warm for us to hand over the Trade Union Shelter. Thereby, it is more appreciated the importance of the house for union members to settle down and make a living.
"The Trade Union organization must take even more care of union members in difficulty. Hopefully, this house will be preserved and used well by union members so that it truly becomes the home of a union family, Mr. Do Tran Thinh emphasized.
