The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Mai Ba Nam - Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, representatives of the leaders of Ba Thuoc district and a large number of cadres, union members, and workers in the area.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, the launching ceremony aims to propagate and disseminate to organizations, businesses and people the policies and viewpoints of the Party; policies and laws of the State; regulations of the Central and the province on environmental protection and biodiversity.
Key activities during this occasion include a propaganda campaign, mobilizing staff and people to raise public awareness; encouraging the use of lanes and plastic boxes with hand-carriedads to contain food instead of plastic bags when going to the market; gradually limiting the use of small plastic bags; increasing the reuse of plastic products, contributing to extending the product life cycle and reducing plastic waste.
At the same time, strengthen control of waste collection, transportation and treatment; mobilize resources to focus on thoroughly handling environmental pollution points that directly affect people's lives and livelihoods.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of Ba Thuoc district and many cadres, union members, and workers planted trees and cleaned up at agencies and units, practically responding to the Environmental Action Month 2025.
