On January 15, Kien An ward coordinated with Hai Phong City Labor Federation to organize a conference to give Tet gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the ward with the theme "Spring Connects Love".
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien An ward proactively coordinates with the Ward People's Committee, professional departments, member organizations and the Fatherland Front Working Committee of 43 residential groups to conduct reviews, statistics, and make lists of households in difficult circumstances that need support during Tet. The review process is carried out publicly, democratically, and for the right beneficiaries, ensuring that it does not overlap with support policies from the Central Government, the city and other sources. Priority beneficiaries include households that have just escaped poverty in 2025, households in particularly difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people, people with disabilities, Agent Orange victims, union members, association members, workers, and laborers facing difficulties.
Mr. Vu Xuan Phuc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien An ward, said: From the ward's "For the Poor" Fund and the support of sponsoring units, the Organizing Committee has prepared Tet gifts to be presented to 176 households in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, worth 700,000 VND/gift. In addition, the City Labor Federation presented 160 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, worth 1 million VND/gift.
This is an activity to celebrate the 14th Party Congress; showing the concern and care of the Party, State, Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, business community and philanthropists for the people, especially households that are still facing many difficulties in life.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
