On January 15, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) organized a conference to collect opinions from voters in their workplaces on the person expected to introduce the candidacy for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term for Comrade Nguyen Kim Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of MOET, National Assembly Deputy of the XV term, the person recommended for candidacy for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term, term 2026-2031.
At the conference, voters unanimously affirmed that comrade Nguyen Kim Son has a clean and clear background; a steadfast and firm stance, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; bright moral qualities, honest, humble, and simple lifestyle; approachable, democratic, fair, straightforward, upright, and honest demeanor.
In his position as a delegate to the 15th National Assembly, Comrade Nguyen Kim Son actively participated in researching draft laws and resolutions passed during the 15th National Assembly term; actively discussed and contributed opinions to draft laws and resolutions, important issues of the country in general and the field of education and training in particular; well performed the role of a people's representative, bringing the voice of voters to the National Assembly forum, contributing to building a rule-of-law state of the people, by the people and for the people.
In his position as Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, Comrade Nguyen Kim Son, together with the Party Personnel Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, fully performed his responsibilities according to the assignment of the Politburo and the Secretariat; proactively advised, proposed and organized the implementation of Party resolutions and conclusions; fully participated in meetings, strictly adhered to the discipline of speaking and confidentializing information; promptly disseminated and directed the implementation of the Central Resolution throughout the Education sector in accordance with regulations.
In his position as Minister of Education and Training, he has led and directed the Education sector to achieve many important and strategic results. The Ministry has summarized the implementation of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, advised the Politburo to issue Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW and especially Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development, creating a foundation for a new stage of development.
The work of perfecting institutions has been promoted with many important laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly, in which in 2025 for the first time four education laws took effect simultaneously. The organizational structure and staff of officials and teachers are arranged in a streamlined, effective, and efficient direction; the quality of universal education, literacy and building a learning society continues to be improved.
The 2018 general education program is implemented synchronously from grades 1 to 12; exams, admissions, university education, vocational education and digital transformation achieved clear results, contributing to improving the quality of human resources, ensuring fairness and sustainable education development, especially in difficult areas and border areas...
Voters agreed that comrade Nguyen Kim Son meets the standards to become a National Assembly deputy according to the provisions of law.
According to voters, the Minister of Education and Training's participation and becoming a National Assembly deputy is very correct and necessary. As a National Assembly deputy, through the activities of the National Assembly, the Minister of Education and Training has the conditions to listen to and share the opinions and proposals of National Assembly deputies, and the legitimate aspirations of voters nationwide.
Speaking to voters of the Ministry of Education and Training agency, Comrade Nguyen Kim Son affirmed that the support of the leaders and voters of the agency in the process of participating as National Assembly deputies of the XV term and has introduced the comrade to continue to run for National Assembly deputy of the XVI term as a personal honor, a political responsibility to the Party, State and voters nationwide.

At the conference, 100% of voters voted unanimously to introduce comrade Nguyen Kim Son to participate in the election of National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term.
