According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on July 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 8 had a working session with the Phu An Ward Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City on personnel work and activities of the ward union.
The representative of Phu An Ward Trade Union reported on the situation of the organization of the ward trade union apparatus, personnel, facilities, and work to receive the list of grassroots trade unions in the area, at the same time, raised difficulties and obstacles and proposed and recommended important issues to help the activities of ward trade unions improve in the coming time.
The working group recorded, answered, guided and oriented a number of key contents on issues related to the trade union organization model in the context of merging and operating the two-level government, on management mechanisms, seals, trade union financial accounts, plans to develop union members, care for workers' lives, as well as coordination with unions in mobilizing, propagating and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and laborers.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Huong Ly - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu An Ward Party Committee - acknowledged the timely support and assistance of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation for the Phu An Ward Trade Union in the current period.
At the same time, he said that the Phu An Ward Party Committee will closely coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to continue to pay attention to directing, helping and considering resolving problems facing ward unions, creating all favorable conditions for unions to operate effectively, contributing to stabilizing the lives of union members and workers, ensuring security and order in the locality.
