During the 2 days of August 12-13, the working delegation led by Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Trade Union Work Committee - directly visited and presented gifts to a number of typical families and relatives of martyrs and war invalids of the People's Public Security in the communes/wards: Muong Thanh, Thanh Nua, Na Tau, Tuan Giao and Tua Chua.


This is a practical activity to express gratitude and promote the tradition of "Remembering the source of drinking water" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
At the families, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong asked about their health and lives, expressing her deep gratitude for the great sacrifice of the martyrs and wounded soldiers of the People's Public Security, who did not spare their blood and bones for the independence, freedom of the Fatherland and the peaceful life of the people.

At the same time, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong wished the families good health, continued to promote the revolutionary tradition, and was a shining example in the locality.
Also on August 13, the Labor Federation working delegation led by Mr. Tan Minh Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, Chairman of the Labor Federation of Dien Bien province - visited the family of the heroic martyr Pham Van Cuong in Hai Phong.
Heroic martyr Pham Van Cuong - an officer of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Lai Chau Provincial Police, now Dien Bien Provincial Police) heroically sacrificed himself when he and his teammates solved the case and dismantled a transnational drug ring from the Golden Triangle area through Laos to Vietnam.
