The funeral and burial of Writer, Journalist Nguyet Tu, born in 1925, Pre-Uprising cadre, former member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, former Director of the Vietnam Women's Publishing House, wife of the late National Assembly Chairwoman, late Chairman of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Le Quang Dao, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Major General, Vice Chairman of the Political Directorate of the Vietnam People's Army, Chief female painter Nguyen Phan Chanh, was held on September 17, 2024.

The family was welcomed by representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, agencies and organizations of the Party, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central and local mass organizations, leaders of Ha Tinh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi - especially the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, the Political Directorate, the Technical Directorate, the Military Science and Technology Institute, the general departments, military regions, army corps, military branches, departments, institutes and units under the Ministry of National Defence - and associations, liaison committees, families and individuals who attended the funeral and burial.

The family received wreaths from General Secretary - President To Lam, leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front; agencies, organizations, families, individuals and friends near and far.

The family is very touched and grateful for the gratitude and dedicated support of the Funeral Committee that helped to solemnly carry out the funeral.
