After the online conference to study, study, and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union organized by the VGCL, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union will develop a program and action plan. These programs and plans will be specifically developed, closely following the practical requirements of the industry so that the Resolution can soon go into life in the most practical way.
We will also direct levels to strengthen propaganda and widespread dissemination of the contents of the Resolution to officials, union members, and workers. The special characteristic of the Electricity industry is that there are many units and workers working mobilely on projects and construction sites. Therefore, we determine that bringing the Resolution to union members and workers must be implemented in many rich forms, suitable for units and localities, including digital transformation applications. Implementing the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the Company's Trade Union determines to focus on improving the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the period 2026 - 2031. In addition, the Trade Union will promote patriotic emulation movements, encourage union members and employees to promote initiatives, technical improvements, and apply them to production practice, thereby contributing to developing new production forces, improving labor productivity, creating stable jobs and increasing income for employees, while bringing practical benefits to businesses.
The company's Trade Union also continues to improve the quality of representative activities, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. One of the goals stated in the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress is to focus on developing union members, perfecting organizational models, improving operational efficiency; effectively performing the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. In my opinion, this is a very important content because from the past until now, trade union levels, especially grassroots trade unions, have always been aware and implemented activities to fulfill their roles. However, reality shows that some trade union activities are still heavily administrative and movement-based, grassroots trade unions in many businesses are still weak, not strong enough to dialogue, negotiate, protect, grasp, reflect and promptly resolve the grievances of union members. Meanwhile, in the new situation, workers are in need of a trade union organization that is closer, more practical, and stronger. Therefore, the team of grassroots trade union officials and workers are very much looking forward to the Resolution soon entering life through the action program of the industry trade union. I believe that the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress has many innovative contents, closely following reality and meeting the needs of workers in the current context. In my opinion, workers need to be propagated, disseminated, studied and thoroughly grasped the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State related to labor and trade unions. At the enterprise where I work, each year the Trade Union Executive Committee coordinates with the company to organize 1-2 legal propaganda sessions with practical contents such as fire prevention and fighting; Labor Code; social insurance policies; and at the same time guide workers to identify bad and toxic information, false arguments in cyberspace. Through propaganda sessions, workers better understand their legitimate rights and interests, and at the same time raise awareness and self-protection skills against false information. Besides, I believe that to improve labor productivity and improve income, each worker also needs to proactively study, train, and constantly improve their skills and professional skills to meet the increasing demands of businesses and the labor market.
