According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An, the trade union is responsible for supporting and creating conditions for intellectuals - those who are placed on a great responsibility because they will create changes that make the stature of Vietnamese people, create the position of Vietnam.
Speaking at the program, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong emphasized that in 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will launch Workers' Month with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneer in entering a new era".
One of the contents of Workers' Month is the activities of a creative labor festival with the theme "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise Up".
This is also an opportunity to honor the value of labor, arouse the spirit of creativity and responsibility of workers in the current national construction process; at the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of agencies and units in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests, improving living and working conditions of workers and laborers.
According to Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thai Thu Xuong, Vietnam Education Union has concretized the direction of the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with many activities. Based on the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Education Union has been creative in implementing the organization of activities in accordance with the situation of the industry and promoting the role of union members who are scientists and lecturers.
The 2025 Workers' Month series of the Vietnam Education Trade Union has created space for scientists to exchange and share about research projects, discuss and together remove difficulties in the implementation, exploration process... to have excellent and highly effective research projects.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests the Vietnam Education Trade Union and its affiliated grassroots trade unions to take the lead, be exemplary, motivate and have more activities to promote scientific research, technology development and innovation in educational institutions, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong emphasized.
The Creative Labor Festival organized by the Vietnam Education Trade Union includes 2 main contents:
Part 1: Opening of the Exhibition: "Creative journey - aspiration to reach out" displays and introduces scientific products and research works from higher education institutions; honors young scientists with outstanding achievements in 2025 that have been selected by trade unions at all levels to introduce.
Part 2: Seminar: "Breakthrough in the development of science, technology, innovation, creativity and national digital transformation - The journey of young scientists".
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded the Creative Labor Diploma by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 individuals: Mr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Be, lecturer of the Department of Education Psychology, University of Education, Hue University; Mr. Hoang Huu Phuoc, lecturer of Primary Education Department, University of Education, Hue University; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of Preschool Education Department, University of Education, Hue University; Mr. Tran Van The, Head of Mechanical Department, Hung Yen University of Technical Education; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Phu, Lecturer of Mechanical Department, Hung Yen University of Technical Education.
The Vietnam Education Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 17 young scientists with outstanding achievements in scientific research and technology transfer in 2024.
