Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra receives new duties

The Minister of Home Affairs is the Head of the Administrative Reform Working Group. The task of the Group is to research and propose to the Government on the development of science, technology, etc.

Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 932/QD-TTg approving the list of members and functions and tasks of the Administrative Reform Working Group (Working Group).

The Head of the Working Group is Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra.

The Deputy Heads of the Working Group include: Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Cao Huy (Standing Deputy Head of the Government Office Pham Manh Cuong; Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong; Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long.

Members of the Working Group include: Deputy Minister of Defense General Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh; Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh; Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc; Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen; Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang; Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung;

In addition, there is Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Vo Van Hung; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang; Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minority and Religion Y Vinh ToR; Deputy General Inspector of Government Nguyen Van Cuong; Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu; Deputy Head of the Government Cipher Committee Colonel Ho Van Huong.

Director of the Department of Administrative Reform, Ministry of Home Affairs Pham Minh Hung is the Secretary of the Working Group.

The Working Group is responsible for researching and proposing to the Government, the Prime Minister, the Government Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06 to deploy tasks on administrative reform (except for urging administrative procedure reform associated with Project 06) nationwide.

The decision takes effect from May 15, 2025.
