The person with the task of specifically announcing the 2026 Tet holiday to cadres and civil servants shall comply with Decree 28/2025/ND-CP.

Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 128/2025/ND-CP (on decentralization and delegation of authority in state management of the internal affairs sector) stipulates as follows:

Decentralization of state management tasks on labor and wages applicable to employers and employees working under labor contracts

1. The tasks and powers prescribed in the functions, tasks, organizational structure and operation of the National Wage Council shall be implemented by the Prime Minister in accordance with the provisions of Clause 3, Article 92 of the Labor Code.

2. The task of specifically announcing annual holidays and Tet holidays as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 112 of the Labor Code is carried out by the Minister of Home Affairs (to apply to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working in administrative agencies, public service units, political organizations, and socio-political organizations).

Thus, the holiday schedule for civil servants, public employees and workers in administrative agencies in 2026 will be specifically announced by the Minister of Home Affairs.
