The contest is for officials, union members, civil servants, public employees, and laborers of Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union, participating in individual or group competitions of no more than 3 members. Grassroots trade unions have promoted propaganda on news bulletins and social networks; and at the same time guided and supported union members to participate.
Entries all strictly comply with the mandatory requirement to have intervention and support from AI tools such as Gemini, Canva Magic Design, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Sora. Contestants have actively submitted entries focusing on two main categories: Graphic Design (AI Image) category requiring attaching commands (prompts) to create poster images, infographics and Multimedia Content Creation (AI Video/Motion) category with short videos from 60 to 180 seconds applying AI to create motion.
After more than a month of launching, the contest received enthusiastic and responsible response from grassroots trade unions with a total of 69 valid entries in both categories. In which, the Graphic Design (AI Image) category prevailed with 48 works being posters, vivid media infographics, accompanied by a complete system of prompts, showing the authors' language thinking and good technology control ability.
The Multimedia Content Creation (AI Video/Motion) category, although requiring higher techniques, also excellently attracted 21 video clips to participate in the competition.
The participation of authors in both categories not only reflects the spirit of learning and willingness to access new technologies of a large number of union members, but also proves the effectiveness of communication and orientation from the Organizing Committee and affiliated grassroots trade unions.
Ms. Tran Ngoc Anh - union member of 1/6 Kindergarten, one of the 2 first prize winners of the Contest, said that to have a work submitted for more than 4 minutes, she collected information and images about the activities of the Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union and made a clip in 3 days.
“The process of making entries has given me more knowledge about the history of the Ward Trade Union's activities as well as the application of technology in daily work” - Ms. Ngoc Anh shared.
The results and response of union members and workers show the effective innovation of methods in the operation of the Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union.
