The union member receiving support is Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, a worker at Xuan Mai Urban Environment Company Limited.
Ms. Ngoc has been an environmental worker for 16 years. The family's circumstances are difficult. The couple has the same job, with a total income of more than 10 million VND. They have 2 children, one in grade 5, the other in grade 6.
Previously, the family lived in an old proximang-roofed house. Every time it rains, the house leaks and the bricks break down. With the attention of the Trade Union at all levels, Ms. Ngoc's family is determined to build a new house on the land they are living on in Noi An residential group, Chuong My ward.
The Trade Union Shelter was built in March 2025, and will be completed and put into use in June 2025, replacing the previous seriously degraded house.

The total construction cost is 296,000,000 VND, of which the Hanoi City Labor Federation supported 40,000,000 VND, the family's savings were 156,000,000 VND, borrowed 100,000,000 VND and from other sources.
For Ms. Ngoc's family, the dream has come true. Ms. Ngoc emotionally expressed her deep gratitude to the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the Company and the Company's Trade Union. For her, the joy of having a new house was multiplied many times when she received funding support to build a Trade Union Shelter on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Presenting 40,000,000 VND in support and gifts to celebrate the newborn of the City Labor Federation to Ms. Ngoc's family, Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh - Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation congratulated and encouraged Ms. Ngoc and her family. The Vice President of the City Labor Federation said that the handover of support for the Trade Union Shelter on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union is very meaningful because it affirms the practical care and concern of the Trade Union organization for union members in difficult circumstances. Mr. Khanh also said that every year, the City Labor Federation has just supported the repair and construction of a new D Trade Union Shelter from 35-40 Trade Union Shelters. In 2025, more than 30 houses were completed.
