In that context, working with VNPT Nghe An colleagues to quickly fix the Telecommunications - IT system, on the morning of October 1, VNPT Hanoi sent a working group with 30 technical personnel to Nghe An to provide information. In the group, many familiar technicians have previously set off to join the working groups. The officers and staff are all technicians with solid expertise and a lot of experience in combat in provinces affected by storms and floods.
VNPT Hanoi has repeatedly sent information rescue working groups to support VNPT provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, but this is the working group with the largest number of technicians participating ever - Mr. Luong Cao Chi said.
On October 5, Mr. Dang Truong Giang, an engineer at VNPT Hanoi, said that when he received instructions to go to Nghe An to coordinate with other units to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, everyone knew this was an urgent task, so he was very ready. Although the most difficult thing was the cut roads and many stations were deeply flooded, we had to walk or use boats to bring in dangerous outdoor equipment, but we encouraged each other to stay.
"We work continuously for more than 12 hours a day, working all evening, Saturday and Sunday... The number one priority is to restore waves so that local authorities have a communication channel to direct rescue, and people can call their families to report the news. When we saw mobile waves displayed again, people were excited to call to report to their relatives, we were very touched. That is the motivation for the brothers to continue working, even though it is difficult, everyone feels it is worth it - Mr. Dang Truong Giang shared.
