Convenient to go to work, kindergarten for children to study
Apartments in the social housing area in Bao Minh Industrial Park are fully designed with areas such as living rooms, kitchens, toilets, attic... helping the living space become comfortable. Here, there are currently 388 apartments and they have been filled.
Working at Bao Minh Industrial Park for many years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (from Quang Tri) and her family live in this social housing area, Ms. Huong said that being near her workplace helps her save travel time, conveniently take care of young children and stabilize her long-term life.
Similarly, Ms. Cao Thi Thu (from Ninh Binh) shared: "My house is more than 30km from the company, before it was very hard to travel back and forth every day. Since being supported in social housing, I only take a few minutes to get to my room, saving time and travel costs. Not only that, I also send my young child to a kindergarten in the social housing campus, so it is very convenient.
Many other workers also clearly feel the change when moving to live here. In addition to convenience, security is also ensured. The social housing area has a 24/24 security system, controlling people entering and leaving, helping workers feel secure in living and working.
One of the major plus points of the social housing area is the accompanying utility system, especially the kindergarten right in the campus. This is considered a factor that helps many workers settle down and stick with the business for a long time.
Sending children right in the social housing area helps workers save significant time each day. Not only convenient, the learning environment here is also invested methodically. The school grounds are about 1,000m2 wide, including 8 spacious classrooms, which can accommodate up to 200 children. Classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, fans, ensuring good learning conditions for children. In particular, the childcare time is flexible, suitable for workers' shifts. The school accepts children from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM and can support late-night childcare when parents work overtime.
Towards expansion, meeting the needs of workers
Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong - Deputy General Director of Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company - informed that right from the time of building the industrial park, the unit has identified housing development for workers as an important task.
In 2013, we invested in building a social housing area to create conditions for workers far away to have stable accommodation. After a period of operation, this model has brought clear efficiency, contributing to retaining labor" - Mr. Cuong assessed. Faced with increasing demand, the business is planning to build phase 2 of the social housing area to expand the scale and provide more accommodation for workers.
Assessing the social housing area in Bao Minh Industrial Park, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation - said that this model has brought practical efficiency in stabilizing the lives of workers, helping workers feel secure in working and long-term attachment to businesses.
The development of social housing associated with industrial parks not only helps improve the lives of workers but also creates a foundation for the sustainable development of businesses and localities. When workers "settle down", they will be assured to work and stick with them for a long time, contributing to improving productivity and stabilizing human resources.
