Manpower Company believes that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the recruitment trend in the Asia-Pacific region will be quite stable. The net employment outlook index (NEO) in the Asia-Pacific region reached +28%.
In Vietnam, the demand for high-quality human resources continues to increase, especially in the information technology, finance - insurance and technical services industries, with NEO around +37% to +38%. This result shows that in parallel with the streamlining trend, businesses are still actively recruiting people with in-depth skills.
According to Manpower Company, businesses expected to increase recruitment are mainly due to the following reasons: Expanding business scale (40%); having more new business projects or markets (30%); meeting the development requirements of technology (28%); needing new-skills personnel to increase competitive advantage (28%); increasing human resource diversification (27%).
Notably, among the enterprises expected to increase personnel, only 21% are recruiting replacement positions for newly quit jobs and 18% are completing recruitment for positions that have not been recruited for a long time. In general, the trend of systematic human resource investment is clearly demonstrated when businesses prioritize creating new positions instead of only recruiting replacements.
