According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the labor market in November 2025 witnessed a strong restructuring: The recruitment demand of enterprises focused on the group of highly qualified - university-level workers, accounting for 67% of total recruitment demand. This feature is most clearly demonstrated in the positions of technicians, sales staff, electrical - electronics engineers...
The demand for unskilled labor and technical workers accounts for 23.8% of total recruitment demand, focusing on the positions of production workers, sales staff, domestic workers, and security guards.
The change in qualifications also closely corresponds to the shift in the salary structure that businesses have proposed. The salary from 10 - 20 million VND increased to account for the largest proportion, accounting for 74.5%. Meanwhile, the salary from 5 - 10 million VND decreased to 24.7%.
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, this shift strongly affirms the trend of businesses focusing on recruiting high-quality positions, requiring extensive expertise and experience, and being willing to offer attractive treatment levels to attract and retain talent, instead of massive recruitment in the low-paid labor segment.
Regarding the job search needs of workers in November, it mainly focused on the following occupations: Employees, office assistants (accounting for 34%), assemblers and operators of machinery and equipment (accounting for 21.2%) and simple workers (accounting for 10.5%).
In terms of professional qualifications, the largest proportion is the group of "untrained" workers, accounting for over 50% of the total number of job seekers surveyed. Next is the group of workers with "technical workers' equal" qualifications, accounting for 23%. The labor group "University degree or higher" accounts for 17.2%. This shows that although the demand for seasonal recruitment increases at the end of the year, the opportunity to find stable and long-term jobs for the unskilled labor force is still limited.
