Ms. Luong Thi Na, born in 1987, is currently a Mobifone sales staff in Yen Trach commune (Thai Nguyen). Ms. Na has been working at Mobifone for 6 years. As a single mother raising two young children, she is living in a bamboo walled house with a seriously degraded thatched roof of her parents.
Although her parents gave her a plot of land, she never dared to think about building a house because of her meager income, doing it as much as possible. To have more money to cover expenses, she also farmed and raised livestock with her grandparents.
The happiness came to Ms. Na too unexpectedly. On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, she was awarded a Trade Union Shelter worth 60 million VND by the People's Police Trade Union.
This support gift came to me like a dream. Thanks to the support of the People's Police Trade Union and relatives, I plan to build a house in July 2026" - Ms. Na shared.
Also according to Ms. Na's sharing, during her time working at Mobifone, she has always received attention from trade union levels. In the period 2023-2025, trade union levels in the People's Public Security Forces have maintained and strongly innovated social security activities, thanks to which union member welfare is increasingly deepening and becoming more substantive.
The "Trade Union Shelter" program continues to be a humanitarian bright spot, solving essential housing needs. In 3 years (2023-2025), it has supported the repair of 51 houses, built 42 new houses with a total support cost of more than 6 billion VND.
In parallel, trade union organizations at all levels have promoted their proactive role, proposing to Party committees and unit leaders to pay attention to expanding welfare for union members and workers. Besides values and material benefits, attention is also paid to solutions to care for and improve spiritual life, considering this as a key factor to regenerate labor and build a healthy cultural environment at the unit.
