The working class is always the leading class of the revolution.
Speaking at the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine analyzed that in the new context, under the impact of globalization and international integration, the Vietnamese working class has grown rapidly in quantity, diversified in composition and industry and occupation; cultural level and professional qualifications are constantly improved; material and spiritual life is increasingly improved...
Although the world has changed a lot and the country's context is very different from the time the working class was formed, many viewpoints and guidelines of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought on the working class still have value and need to be promoted.
In which, the Communist Party of Vietnam is always the force representing the interests and ideals of the working class and the interests of the nation. The working class is always the class leading the revolution and the country. President Ho Chi Minh drew a lesson from experience about the inevitability that the working class must ally with other classes and take the leadership of that alliance: “Only the working class is the bravest, most revolutionary, always courageous in confronting the colonial imperialists. With its pioneering revolutionary theory and the experience of the international proletarian movement, our working class has shown itself to be the most worthy and trustworthy leader of the Vietnamese people”.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha discussed a number of tasks and solutions to continue enhancing the role and position of the working class in the new context in the spirit of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought. Accordingly, it is necessary to seriously implement the Party and State's guidelines and policies in developing the working class in the new period in the spirit of "building a working class that is strong in both quantity and quality; is the revolutionary leadership class through the vanguard of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the pioneer class in the cause of building socialism in Vietnam".
Innovate the content and form of political and ideological education for the working class, aiming at quality, practical effectiveness and closeness to the target and circumstances; motivate and encourage workers and laborers to promote a positive spirit, self-awareness, dedication, initiatives and technical improvements to improve labor productivity associated with sustainable economic development.
Continue to firmly maintain the viewpoint that the working class is the leading class of the revolution through the vanguard, the Communist Party of Vietnam; representing advanced and modern production methods; the core force in the alliance of the working class with the peasantry and intellectuals under the leadership of the Party. Party committees, party organizations, and trade union organizations in enterprises need to take care of the material and spiritual interests of workers, so that they can work with peace of mind; from there, they will have enthusiasm, determine the right motivation, continue to strive to join the Party with a voluntary and self-conscious spirit...
