NGUYỄN TRƯỜNG |

In recent times, trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province have effectively coordinated with employers in organizing compulsory dialogue activities according to the provisions of law and diversifying other forms of dialogue.

258/326 enterprises organize periodic dialogues at the workplace

Building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises is an extremely important factor, helping the production and business activities of enterprises achieve good results, creating a safe, equal and fair working environment for employees. Thereby, it has minimized the situation of petitions, complaints, collective work stoppages and complicated labor disputes.

Mr. Tran Kim Long - Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor - shared and identified that the Trade Union organization plays an important role in implementing grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace. Therefore, trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province have implemented many specific and practical activities to put the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations into order, with quality and efficiency, contributing to creating a better working environment for employees.

The coordination of the implementation of democratic regulations in agencies, units and enterprises has received attention. Every year, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor directs the grassroots trade unions to guide and urge the grassroots trade unions of agencies, units and enterprises to coordinate in implementing democratic regulations, especially in coordinating with heads of agencies, units and employers to organize periodic dialogues at the workplace.

" periodic dialogue at the workplace is being carried out more and more systematically. In 2024, in Ninh Binh province, 258/326 enterprises with trade unions organized dialogues at the workplace, including 258 periodic dialogues, 68 surprise dialogues upon request of one or more parties and 31 dialogues upon incident. There are 18 enterprises that do not have a trade union organization to organize periodic dialogues at the workplace to promptly resolve arising problems and legitimate recommendations from employees. Thereby, the situation of petitions and complaints has been minimized, Mr. Long shared.

Limit the occurrence of collective work stoppages

Mr. Dinh The Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Ninh Binh province shared that the Trade Union organization is a member of the Steering Committee for democratic regulations at all levels, actively participating and being responsible in the process of implementing democratic regulations at the grassroots level. Trade unions at all levels, especially grassroots trade unions, always clearly define their responsibilities, coordinate with heads of agencies, units, and employers to prepare well the contents in the process of implementing legal regulations on implementing grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace. At the same time, assign staff to monitor, inspect, supervise and evaluate the implementation of democratic regulations. Proactively propose to professional colleagues and employers to develop and promulgate regulations and rules related to the rights, interests, obligations and responsibilities of employees and employers.

Not only periodic dialogue, but there are times when unions and businesses need to organize surprise dialogues to limit collective work stoppages and labor disputes. When manufacturing enterprises face difficulties, when enterprises transfer leadership or when there are new regulations on State salary policies or major fluctuations affecting the employment of employees... organizing dialogues at the workplace will limit the occurrence of collective work stoppages and labor disputes. Thereby, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations" - Mr. Hung shared.
