According to the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, the whole province currently has 21 Trade Unions at the grassroots level, with a total of 82,153 union members. Of which, female union members account for 59.52% with 48,901 people.
The whole province has 1,393 mass Women's Committees at all levels of trade unions, with 5,808 female cadres. After the 2023-2028 Trade Union Congress, the team of female cadres continues to be improved, operating stably and effectively.
In the first 6 months of 2025, many emulation movements such as: "Good at public affairs - good at housework", "Good at work, creative work" ... were widely implemented.
Nearly 98% of female union members who registered to participate in the movement "Good at public affairs - good at home affairs" have achieved this title.
Activities such as "Ao Dai Week", seminars, sports festivals, folk dance competitions... attracted tens of thousands of female union members to participate, creating a vibrant and cohesive competitive atmosphere among workers.
The work of caring for the lives of female union members has received attention. Thousands of gifts, health check-up programs, home repair, and loan support from the "For Female Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers" Fund with a total budget of hundreds of millions of VND have been put into practice.
The Social Fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor has disbursed 490 million VND to 49 female union members to borrow capital to invest in production and livestock, contributing to increasing income and stabilizing their lives.
Training and fostering of female cadres has also been promoted. The rate of women participating in the Executive Board of Trade Unions at all levels reached over 46%.
Many units have female union leaders, clearly demonstrating the increasingly affirmed role and position of women in the political system and trade union organizations.
The results achieved in the first half of 2025 show that the mobilization of female workers, civil servants, and laborers in Dak Lak continues to play an important role in the workers' movement, trade union activities, and promoting gender equality.
