On November 23, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) announced that the grassroots union of Ben Hai Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. held a congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Hoang Van Tuan - Standing Member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union Work Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh - Secretary of the Company's Party Committee.
Currently, the Ben Hai Forestry Company's Trade Union has 115 union members, operating in 5 departmental unions. Although forestry production activities still face many difficulties, in the 2023-2025 term, the trade union and the company have closely coordinated with the professional team to care for workers' lives: 100% of workers have stable jobs, average income of over 10 million VND/month, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance regimes, periodic health check-ups, occupational safety and hygiene training (OSH) are fully implemented.
Collective labor agreements were signed with many beneficial terms such as 13th month salary, birthday gifts of VND 500,000/person, support for New Year's Day and major holidays of VND 1,000,000/person/time, study support, 3 million VND/person/year vacation and vacation, and nearly 300,000 VND/person/month in sun care... During the term, the union spent 470 million VND to visit and provide subsidies to union members and relatives when facing difficulties, clearly demonstrating its role as a representative and caregiver.
The grassroots trade union also actively participates in developing regulations and contracts related to wages, pine plastic exploitation, forest protection, and implementing grassroots democracy regulations well through labor conferences and periodic dialogues. Propaganda, education, women's work, finance and emulation movements have all been effectively implemented.
In his speech, Mr. Hoang Van Tuan acknowledged the efforts of the Trade Union in accompanying businesses and taking care of workers. He suggested continuing to innovate activities, taking union members as the center; improving skills, promptly grasping and resolving workers' concerns; fostering excellent union members; promoting the movement "Good workers, Creative workers", contributing to the completion of production and business plans and preparing well for the equitization roadmap of enterprises.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 5 comrades. Mr. Tran Quoc Hung continues to be trusted as Chairman of the grassroots trade union. The Congress also elected a delegation to attend the first Quang Tri Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
