According to the Government's direction, Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2 in Ninh Binh, must be put into use before November 30 to serve the work of caring for and protecting people's health, not to waste, while contributing to reducing hospital overload and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for people.
Present at the area where the Bach Mai Hospital Project, Facility 2 is being implemented (in Liem Tuyen ward, Ninh Binh province) on the morning of October 13, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Bach Mai Hospital Project, Facility 2 in Ninh Binh is being urgently completed. The buildings have basically completed the rough construction, the entrance gate and the fence have completed the painting.
The lobby areas to welcome patients, the treatment rooms and functional rooms have also completed the rough construction, the construction unit is completing the installation of equipment.
In the hospital grounds, construction units are urgently completing auxiliary items such as roads, ornamental plants, garden landscapes, etc.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Cuong - Deputy Head of the Medical Project Management Board - Project Investor (under the Ministry of Health) said that the investor is currently directing contractors to focus on human and material resources to speed up the project's progress.
"Up to now, the construction volume has been 98%, and equipment packages are undergoing bidding procedures. By November 30, 100% of the construction will be completed" - Mr. Cuong said.
Mr. Tran Anh Dung - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee said that the province is coordinating and creating all conditions for the investor and the construction unit to complete the project.
Currently, Ninh Binh province has started the social housing project for staff working at the second facility of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.
The social housing project for officers and doctors working at facilities 2 of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital has a total construction area of nearly 4,000m2, in Liem Tuyen ward, with a total investment of more than 400 billion VND.
The scale of the project includes 3 10-storey buildings, expected to provide about 650 modern, comfortable apartments. Currently, Ninh Binh province is focusing resources and directing contractors to speed up the progress to complete the project in early 2026.
"Investing in the construction of this social housing area not only helps solve the urgent housing needs of medical staff but is also a practical step to attract and retain high-quality human resources in the local medical sector" - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung said.

According to the plan, the housing area for staff and doctors of Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2, has an area of 175,472.89m2, with a population of about 3,500 people. This land belongs to the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan of the regional high-quality medical center, located in Liem Tuyen ward.
The project consists of 2 subdivisions. Of which, the low-rise residential land has 531 plots with an area of 115.5 - 138.1m2/plot; 2 mixed-use housing areas with about 20 floors.
"Ninh Binh province is ready to meet the requirements for Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2, to soon come into operation to meet the needs of medical examination and treatment for the people" - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung affirmed.
