Established in 1993 with a focus on commodity distribution, Phu Thai Holdings Group is currently one of the leading multi-industry distribution and investment groups in Vietnam.

From an initial scale of only 10 employees, the group now has more than 5,000 officers and employees. Currently, the employment and average income of employees are always stable with an average social insurance contribution salary of VND19 million/person/month; 100% of employees with contracts are covered by social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.

According to Ms. Nguyen Bich Ngoc - Vice President of Phu Thai Group Trade Union, the trade union always coordinates with professionals to organize quarterly and annually emulation movements to honor typical faces and individuals who have made breakthroughs in market development and sales.

To achieve the goal, Phu Thai identified people as a key factor, needing to continue to comprehensively invest in human resources, considering this the key to conquering major goals, accompanying the development of the country.

Every year, in order to adapt to digital transformation and market fluctuations, Phu Thai allocates a budget of over 6 billion VND for training, ensuring 100% of employees are involved, with an average of 48 hours/person/year. Thanks to the comprehensive welfare policy and stable working environment, the rate of human resource change in Phu Thai is always below 10%, more than 70% of employees have been with the company for more than 5 years. This is an important foundation to help businesses maintain a team of experienced employees, improve productivity and quality of products and services, thereby increasing competitiveness and promoting sustainable growth.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh (warehouse worker), Phu Thai is the "second home" of his family. His family had difficulty living in a room of nearly 20 square meters, his mother was old, his wife had no stable job and was often sick, and his two children were of school age. Currently, most of the living expenses depend on his salary.

"The company's union is always there to support during the most difficult periods of the family. Every year, the union allocates a difficult subsidy fund to support my family. When his wife was in the hospital, colleagues supported and helped him both materially and spiritually. This is a source of encouragement for me to always strive in my work, Ngoc Anh shared.

Ms. Nguyen Bich Ngoc added: To make activities truly practical for workers, the first thing is that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union coordinates with the government to build a Collective Labor Agreement close to the law, even some provisions are higher than the regulations, in order to attract and retain workers for a long time. This is the strength of Phu Thai Trade Union compared to other enterprises".
