On May 15, Vinh Yen Ward Trade Union organized a launching ceremony for Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026; announced the decision to establish new grassroots trade unions and cultural exchanges among union members, workers and civil servants.
The program was attended by leaders of the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Vinh Yen ward, and a large number of union members and workers in the area.
Currently, Vinh Yen Ward Trade Union manages 17 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,000 union members. Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, the Ward Trade Union focuses on implementing many activities to care for life, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the ceremony, leaders of Vinh Yen Ward Trade Union called on trade union levels to continue to coordinate with Party committees, authorities and employers to effectively implement activities in response to Workers' Month.
In addition, promote the emulation movement "Good Labor, Creative Labor", promote initiatives, technical improvements, and application of science and technology in production to improve labor productivity and improve welfare for workers.
Trade union levels are also requested to strengthen dialogue, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers; supervise the implementation of labor policies and laws, labor safety and hygiene; review and negotiate the signing of collective labor agreements to better ensure the rights of workers.
On this occasion, Vinh Yen Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish 4 new grassroots trade unions with 239 union members; and presented 7 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances belonging to newly established grassroots trade unions.
Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND.
Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers and trade union activities in 2025 were also commended and rewarded.
