Ha Tinh 10 Garment Factory currently has 394 workers, of which behind are female workers, and 36% of these are pregnant and raising children under 6 years old.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thach - Chairman of the Trade Union of Ha Tinh Economic Zones emphasized: The establishment of the Club for Pregnant Women and Young Children aims to create conditions for female workers in the Enterprise to receive advice, support, and improve skills and knowledge during pregnancy and raising young children.
Propagate and explain policies related to women, especially issues of gender equality, reproductive health, and scientific knowledge about child care and raising.
The Chairman of the Trade Union of Ha Tinh Economic Zones suggested that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union should promote the role of the Club's Board of Directors, coordinate with enterprises to develop appropriate regulations and operating plans, to organize activities effectively and practically.
Every year, it is necessary to allocate funds for the Club to operate; Club members need to promote their roles and responsibilities and strictly comply with operating regulations to contribute to the Club's effective operation.
