It is known that the Trade Union of SHP Group Joint Stock Company is one of 65 grassroots trade unions piloting the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model in the city. The goal is to ensure that the trade union organization is truly a socio-political organization of the working class, for the interests of union members and workers, contributing to building Hai Phong into a model in the socialist construction model. The model will be piloted from November 2025 to August 2027 at grassroots trade unions with 200 or more union members and workers.
The criteria include: Negotiating and signing collective labor agreements in accordance with regulations classified as A, which have many clauses that are more beneficial than the law; having regulations on coordination between trade unions and unit leaders, organizing periodic dialogues at least 2 times/year and annual employee conferences in accordance with regulations.
