On September 21, the leader of the Department of Home Affairs of Gia Lai province said that up to now, the leave regime for more than 200 non-professional workers (HDKCT) at the commune level has been resolved according to Decree 154.
After the merger, the whole province has 4,138 members of the Board of Directors at the commune level. Of which, 1,649 people have proposed to resolve policies; 62 people have been assigned to work in villages and residential groups; the remaining 2,427 people, of which 1,972 people have been assigned to support Party agencies, the Front and commune-level unions.
According to the leader of the Department of Home Affairs, the total number of people whose administrative procedures have proposed to resolve the regime and cases of resignation from work from May 31, 2026 according to the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs is nearly 2,000 people. To date, more than 200 cases have been resolved, the rest are in the process of being appraised and handled.
In recent times, the Department of Home Affairs has issued many documents guiding localities. However, the biggest problem at present is determining the subjects, working time and the level of benefits.
Implementing the direction of the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs has contacted and urged localities not to submit documents to request policies for shareholders. Up to now, communes and wards have fully supplemented. With the received documents, the Department continues to review and guide to complete them according to regulations.
During the implementation process, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested communes and wards to be responsible for identifying the correct subjects of staff streamlining under their authority, as well as the progress of reviewing, supplementing, and completing the dossier to propose resolving the regime and policies for directors of administrative units managed by the commune level.
The Department of Home Affairs is responsible for appraising the dossier, promptly compiling a list of eligible cases, and sending them to the Department of Finance for appraisal of the budget estimate according to regulations.
