The 10th Traditional Sports Festival of Nghe An Education is a practical activity to encourage and motivate the movement of physical exercise and competition in schools and agencies.
This year's sports festival attracted the participation of 190 teams with more than 700 athletes participating in competitions including women's volleyball, men's volleyball, badminton, table tennis; held from March 7 - 9, 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province - said that the traditional sports festival is an opportunity for cadres, teachers and workers in school units, between districts to meet and exchange experiences to understand and learn from each other, strengthen solidarity, create new momentum, new vitality for work and study.
Affirming that sports activities for each individual not only improve health, sports also contribute to intellectual development and personality building, helping people develop comprehensively.
The head of Nghe An Education Department said that organizing sports festivals aims to create a playground for teachers to develop talents and abilities.
From the influence of spreading physical exercise in teachers, it will create a movement of physical exercise in schools, as a premise and core to discover talented students to nurture, contributing to building the sports career of the province.
