The competition had 6 teams with 30 contestants from the company's grassroots union departments. In the banh chung wrapping competition, each team wrapped 30 banh chung in 90 minutes, with a total of 180 banh chung completed.
At the end of the competition, the jury awarded the First Prize to Team 2 (Business, Kitchen, Hotel, Accounting); 2 Second Prizes to the Kitchen - Administrative Organization Team and the Restaurant, Resort Kitchen - Accounting Team; 3 Third Prizes to the Board of Directors and Organizations Team, the Reception - Business Team and the Engineering - Housekeeping Team.
After the contest, the Organizing Committee will distribute all 180 banh chung, of which 36 will be offered at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Mother of President Ho Chi Minh, the rest will be distributed to all officers and employees of the company.
The Banh Chung wrapping contest is one of the contents of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang", aiming to create a useful playground for cadres, union members and workers to demonstrate their aesthetic talent, ingenuity and creativity; at the same time, improve understanding and preserve the beauty of the traditional Tet culture of the nation.
