Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy stated that Resolution No. 60 -NQ/TW The 11th Conference, the XIII Central Committee of the Party Central Committee agreed to the direction of building a 2 -level local government organization model, arranging socio -political organizations, mass associations assigned by the Party and the State to the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Therefore, this constitutional correction is essential to create a donation basis for the implementation of the revolution of streamlining the apparatus; Building, perfecting and improving the performance of the political system, meeting the requirements and tasks of national development in the new situation.
According to Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, the scope of amendments is limited, only focusing on 8/120 articles of the 2013 Constitution, in order to promptly institutionalize the Party's policy on the arrangement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio -political organizations, the mass associations assigned by the Party and the State to the organization of the two -level local government in the direction of the people close to the people, the people to kill and serve the people better.
Emphasizing the content of amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution at the draft Resolution is very brief, focusing on a number of things to immediately serve the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy said that the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front was assigned to collect comments in the Front system for nearly 1 month and summarize all results of collection of suggestions to submit to the People's Committee for the results of the Board of Directors. of the 2013 Constitution.
At the Conference, the participants participated in the contents of expected amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution compared to the current provisions of the Constitution, which focused on discussing and commenting on the contents related to the rights and responsibilities of the Front and its member organizations in Articles 9, 10 and 1 Article 84.
