Accident in Quang Ninh coal mine, 1 worker died

    Quang Ninh - In the first shift, on September 26, a work accident occurred at a tunnel of Uong Bi Coal Company - TKV, killing 1 worker.

    According to a report from Uong Bi Coal Company - TKV (under Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group), at around 11:00 a.m., shift 1, September 26, at the vertical tunnel at level -120 V8(43), Hong Thai area, Trang Bach Mine, K14 Mining Workshop, a work accident occurred.

    Previously, during the morning shift on September 26, electromechanical worker Nguyen Thanh Ch (level 2/5 worker) received production orders to perform the tasks of checking, maintaining, repairing and installing electromechanical equipment systems as well as collecting materials in the work area.

    However, while working at around 11am, worker Nguyen Thanh Ch had a work accident and died.

    Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident and handling it according to regulations.
