Lao Dong Newspaper has just published an article reflecting the local traffic congestion during rush hour on the service routes through Quang Chau Industrial Park (Bac Ninh) affecting the lives and psychology of tens of thousands of workers.
Major Tran Ngoc Giang - Deputy Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department, Bac Ninh Provincial Police) - said that roads around industrial parks such as Quang Chau, Van Trung, Dinh Tram often experience congestion due to many factors.
Most workers travel by personal motorbike, while buses or centralized transportation are still lacking. Unreasonable intersections, along with jostling, violating lanes, and street vendors encroaching on the roadside, further complicate the situation.
Faced with this situation, the Traffic Police force of Bac Ninh province is implementing many urgent solutions. Specifically, strengthen regulation and traffic flow on key routes; propose the installation of a reasonable sign system; add " cooling fine" camera to improve the effectiveness of handling violations. At the same time, coordinate with businesses to open more gates to enter and exit instead of pushing all vehicles onto the main road, causing local congestion.
On the side of the local government, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Phan The Tuan directly inspected the scene and requested the People's Committee of Nenh ward to urgently clear the traffic corridor and handle acts of encroachment on the highway service road. Mr. Phan The Tuan also directed the commune police force to coordinate traffic regulation at hot spots, and at the same time requested the Industrial Park Management Board to coordinate with the Department of Construction to review and supplement a system of synchronous and appropriate directional signs.
In addition, businesses are required to arrange routes and stops to pick up and drop off workers appropriately, avoiding widespread stopping and parking. Propaganda to raise traffic awareness among workers and drivers is also considered a key solution. In the long term, the Department of Construction is studying comprehensive solutions for inter-regional transport infrastructure planning, to reduce pressure on road axes around the industrial park, contributing to building a safe and favorable working environment for workers.
