On December 22, at Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company (Hue City), Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union organized a meeting and gave Tet gifts to workers within the framework of the program "Happy Tet - Workers' Festival - Charity Market" Spring At Ty 2025.
Accordingly, in order to take better care of union members and workers, bring many benefits and joys so that union members and workers can have a warm and happy Tet, the Group and the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union have coordinated to organize "Tet Sum Vay - Workers' Festival - Charity Market" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty.
With the motto "All workers have Tet, enjoy Tet", in addition to mobilizing businesses to participate in selling products at preferential prices from 20 - 50% for workers, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union focuses on supporting workers and employees in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, families with preferential policies, workers and employees working far from home, having difficulty returning home to reunite with their families during Tet.
In Hue City, the fourth program of the Tet Sum Vay journey series across the country took place with the following contents: giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those with serious illnesses, supporting buses to take workers home for Tet, and organizing preferential booths for workers.
Based on the request of the grassroots trade unions, the Organizing Committee approved the giving of Tet gifts to 390 union members and employees of 12 units located in Thua Thien Hue province, with a total amount of 390 million VND. At the same time, the Organizing Committee supported the cost of organizing charity buses for 5 grassroots trade unions to transport union members and employees back to their hometowns for Tet.
This year, a Tet gift is worth 1 million VND (including 700 thousand VND in cash and 300 thousand VND in kind). All the members and employees from many different areas of Hue and also the employees in Quang Binh area came here to attend in large numbers, creating a meaningful, touching and warm Tet reunion.
