According to the leader of the Hanoi Employment Service Center (Center), some industries with good growth in human resource demand in August were tourism, travel, accommodation, food and beverage services; healthcare; processing, manufacturing and trade - services. The steady growth in many areas shows that the Hanoi labor market picture is positive and diverse in the coming time.
Also in August 2025, the Center organized 21 regular, thematic, online, mobile job fairs with 600 participating units and 12,747 recruitment targets. There were 12,114 workers consulted and provided with labor market information; the number of workers interviewed for job connections was 3,396 people; 1,255 workers were accepted and recruited at the job fair organized by the Center.
The number of people applying for unemployment benefits at the Center is 6,375 people; 155 people are supported with vocational training, an increase of 106.67% compared to the plan at the beginning of the year.
Regarding the implementation of job consultation, vocational training, unemployment insurance and labor law policies, the Center has consulted 46,148 employees; consulted 1,063 enterprises.
The center collects information on vacant jobs of 2,572 vacant positions; collects information on job seekers of 2,873 people.
