Accordingly, the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" was actively promoted by grassroots trade unions in coordination with professionals, and schools all established "Teachers' Groups to develop together". To date, 2,168 groups have been established.
That is just one of the emulation movements organized by the Hanoi Education Trade Union with good results. In addition, there are emulation movements, campaigns and industry competitions to help improve the professional capacity of teachers.
In particular, the cultural, artistic and sports movement is continuously promoted by the Industry Union. In the 2024 - 2025 school year, trade unions at all levels have coordinated with the government to successfully organize the Sports Tournament for cadres, teachers and staff. The industry-level sports festival has 1,320 excellent athletes selected from 17 affiliated schools and 30 districts, towns and cities participating and directly competing in 2 events: tug of war and badminton.
The movement to build "Happy Schools" has been promoted by grassroots unions, affiliated clusters and the Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns and cities. Many units organize training conferences and seminars on "Happy Schools"; encourage teachers to innovate and be creative in order to make new changes in improving the quality of education. The emulation movement "Teach well - hoc well" has been actively responded to by cadres and teachers at schools, school clusters, districts, towns and city levels.
The Hanoi Education Trade Union also directed the implementation of the Plan "Initiatives and creativity among cadres, teachers and staff in the capital" to honor and reward teachers with many effective initiatives and innovations. Direct units to respond to the "Teachers in My Eyes" Contest to recognize, honor, and spread examples of teachers with positive impacts and influences, creating motivation and inspiration for students.
