Life became more convenient, and the small house also filled with laughter after many years of hardship. After an accident more than 20 years ago, Mr. Chuc suffered physical disabilities but still strived to work and build a life. His luck was to meet Ms. Cao Thi Nhuong, who is also a disabled worker working at Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd., who became husband and wife and had 2 sons together.
The whole family of 4 had to live in a rented room of only about 20m2, cramped, hot and suffocating in the summer, and cold and windy in the winter. It is still difficult for ordinary people, and even more difficult for people with disabilities like Mr. Chuc and Ms. Nhuong. The dream of having a solid and spacious house for his wife and children to conveniently live is still deeply in Mr. Chuc's heart. However, the couple's monthly income of nearly 15 million VND is just enough for living expenses, medicine costs for the couple as well as the children's education. With the attention of the Trade Union organization, the help of family and friends, Mr. Chuc and his wife bought land and built the Trade Union Shelter. The 60m2 house in Nam Binh residential group, Hong An ward, was inaugurated in early 2026 in the joy and happiness of Mr. Chuc's family.
In which, representatives of the Golden Heart Labor Social Charity Fund and the sponsor, Vietnam Industrial Park Group Joint Stock Company, presented 50 million VND to support the family. The Hai Phong City Labor Federation also supported an additional 10 million VND from the City Trade Union Shelter Fund, and the Trade Union of Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. presented more practical gifts for daily life. It is not only a material gift but also a great spiritual encouragement for the disabled worker's family.

Light of faith for a difficult life

To maintain his remaining vision, every 3 weeks Nam has to go to Hanoi for treatment with a cost of about 6 million VND. This is an amount exceeding the family's ability. After Nam's situation was reflected by Lao Dong Newspaper, through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund, readers across the country donated nearly 22 million VND to support his continued treatment.
