The Labor Federation of Son Tra District, Da Nang City has just held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish and launch the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of independent Preschool Courses in An Hai Nam Ward with 42 union members.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Vo Anh Dung - Vice Chairman of the Son Tra District Labor Federation - emphasized that the establishment of a union is an important solution to gather, represent and protect the rights of workers in the freelance labor sector.
Participating in trade unions not only helps workers ensure their legitimate rights but also creates conditions for them to exchange expertise, improve professional skills, access information on labor policies and improve working conditions.
This is a key factor in building a fair and stable working environment, especially for teachers and staff at non-public preschools.
Implemented from 2024, up to this point, Son Tra District Labor Federation has completed the campaign and established 6 independent preschool class unions in the district with 71 independent child groups, admitting 418 workers to the union.
