Discount from 5% to 50%
Right from the beginning of the 2023-2028 term, the Hoa Vang District Labor Federation (LDF) has proactively worked with businesses that have essential products and services, negotiated and received high support and consensus from businesses, and signed a cooperation agreement to bring many preferential benefits to union members.
Up to now, 9 units and enterprises in the city have participated in the program and have achieved good results.
According to the cooperation agreements, the partners commit to providing products and services to union members at preferential prices, 5% to 50% lower than the current prices of products and services on the market.
In addition, the partners also committed to coordinate and accompany the Union at all levels in social activities, supporting and helping union members in difficult circumstances...
In 2023, with the main task of directing the grassroots Trade Union Congress, successfully organizing the 10th Congress of Hoa Vang District Trade Union, term 2023-2028, the District Labor Federation has also made efforts to seek and organize the signing of the "Union Member Welfare" program with more businesses to support workers to have better living conditions.
Accordingly, at the "Happy - Healthy - Connecting" Festival, the District Labor Federation signed with 8 trusted partners such as: Danang Trade Union Tourism Company Limited, Viet An Eye Hospital Danang, Medlatec Danang Company Limited... to have better benefits for union members and employees through quality products.
“Eight businesses have committed to offering discounts of 10-50% compared to market prices for essential consumer goods to support union members and workers,” said Ms. Bui Thi Linh Chi, Vice President of the Hoa Vang District Labor Federation.
Replicating the program "Union member welfare"
Not only implementing welfare programs signed directly with partners, the District Labor Federation also expanded the "Union member welfare" programs signed by the City Labor Federation so that union members of the unit can benefit more.
One of the partners that the District Labor Federation is interested in is VISSAN Company (Vietnam Livestock Industry Joint Stock Company) because from January 15, 2021, union officials, union members, and employees will receive a direct 10% discount when purchasing food products from this company. In addition, Vissan Company also coordinates to open mobile booths to sell products to union members and employees at preferential prices.
The cooperation agreement between the Da Nang City Labor Federation and Agribank branches in the area (Agribank Da Nang, Agribank Nam Da Nang) was also implemented by the Hoa Vang District Labor Federation. The parties agreed on the collection and transfer of union fees; coordinated the exploitation and implementation of Agribank's banking services to union members; coordinated in providing preferential products and services for union members; coordinated in organizing and implementing social activities and other activities according to the needs and conditions of each party.
Evaluating the program as well as expecting more and more benefits for union members and workers, Mr. Huynh Tan, Chairman of the Hoa Vang District Labor Federation said: This activity has more clearly demonstrated the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the material and spiritual life of workers; at the same time, it has brought a new position to the Hoa Vang District Trade Union organization towards workers when implementing many quality cooperation agreements in the welfare program for union members.
