Hanoi - The emulation movement will be replicated when the initiatives and creativity of workers are evaluated by rights.

Increasingly substantive initiatives and innovations

When evaluating the emulation movements organized by the Hanoi Trade Union, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Ngo Duy Hieu affirmed that the emulation movements in general, and the creative initiative movement in particular in the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) are increasingly developing in both breadth and depth, reflected in the increasing number of initiatives and innovations, the content of initiatives and innovations is becoming more substantive, associated with production practices, and the value of profit is increasing.

According to the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, material benefits are the most specific and practical driving force to promote initiatives and creativity in each worker. Therefore, when dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements, the Trade Union needs to include regulations on enjoying the rights of people with creative initiatives commensurate with their contributions.

In many businesses, emulation is always associated with the rights of employees. With their minds and creativity, employees contribute and benefit businesses with ideas and initiatives, thereby increasing their own income.

At Stanley Vietnam Electricity Co., Ltd., the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union have many direct solutions to create conditions for employees to promote initiatives and innovations. The Trade Union advises leaders to establish an Innovation Committee including 2 innovation training departments and 1 innovation promotion department, headed by 2 Executive Committee members. From there, encourage employees to have initiatives and innovations and both put innovations into practice and bring economic efficiency to themselves.

The special point here is that the Company builds a reward regulations for individuals with outstanding achievements in initiatives and innovations. Accordingly, for each topic, innovation idea, regardless of whether it is effective or not, they will be rewarded with 20,000 VND/item; the number of initiatives exceeding the target will be rewarded with 50,000 VND/item (not including effectiveness). Innovations that achieve results from third prize or higher in innovation competitions will be awarded a trip to Japan/Thailand for 7 days.

The encouragement, reward and (material) benefits deservedly obtained due to research, initiatives, and creativity in the spirit of dedication have created strong motivation for the emulation movement to improve and develop deeply throughout the Company. Each year, the enterprise has about more than 8,000 initiatives considered and put into application, benefiting the Company hundreds of billions of VND. Thanks to its effective and creative approach, the Company is always the leading unit in the city in the Capital's initiative and creativity movement, recognized by the Central Government and the city.

Human resource development in a new phase

The 8th Congress of the Vietnam National Group of Industry and Energy (Petrovietnam Trade Union), term 2025 - 2030, identified the general objective in the coming period as continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on the grassroots level, being practically attached to union members and workers; promoting creative labor emulation movements, emulation on key projects of the Group, thereby improving productivity, efficiency and labor quality.

Along with that, the Trade Union strengthens the care, representation, and protection of workers' rights; focuses on training and fostering professional skills, developing high-quality and professional human resources, meeting the requirements of international integration and digital transformation, contributing to Petrovietnam's affirmation of the pillar role of the national economy in the new era.

The three breakthroughs set out by the Congress are the three pillars that create qualitative changes in the way the Trade Union accompanies Petrovietnam in sustainable development. In which, Petrovietnam Trade Union will create strong motivation to organize creative labor emulation in the team of party members and workers to improve labor productivity, efficiency, and efficiency in operations. Here, Petrovietnam Trade Union clearly identifies the effective organization of innovation emulation and emulation on key projects and projects, thereby creating momentum for breakthroughs in labor - production, improving productivity, quality and efficiency of Petrovietnam's operations.

In the previous term, Petrovietnam Trade Union well implemented the promotion of the creative emulation movement, at least 5,000 Petrovietnam creative products were approved on the system; submitted at least 600 dossiers requesting to be awarded Creative Labor Certificates; 100% of affiliated trade unions built and implemented patriotic emulation movements, focusing on creative labor emulation, contributing to profits of tens of thousands of billions of VND.

This shows the strong creativity and innovation of Petrovietnam employees, becoming a productivity management tool and spreading innovation culture throughout the Group.

In the context of Petrovietnam pursuing energy transition and the green - digital growth model, breakthroughs in creative emulation will be a major driving force for trade unions at all levels in the Group to make important contributions to ensuring the implementation of strategic tasks and goals.
