According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD), from January 5 to 11, the Provincial LDLD will deploy many important activities, focusing on reporting on the results of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the term 2025-2030 as required by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the same time, promote the establishment of commune and ward trade unions, promote propaganda and mobilization to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions. The Provincial Labor Federation also announced the schedule for receiving dossiers and financial settlements of grassroots trade unions in 3 areas Vinh Long, Tra Vinh and Ben Tre before the merger.
The 1st Conference of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation will be held, and will approve important documents including the action program to implement the Resolution of the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress (term 2025-2030), the full-term working program of the Executive Committee, operating regulations and assignment of tasks to members.
The conference also approved the report summarizing trade union activities, the plan to develop union members, improve the quality of dialogue, care for workers and digital transformation of trade union work.
The Provincial Labor Federation directs and guides grassroots trade unions to organize conferences of officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers; employee conferences; dialogues at workplaces; and negotiate and sign collective labor agreements.
In addition, grassroots trade unions summarize trade union activities in 2025, develop a work program for 2026; reward collectives and individuals who achieve achievements, and at the same time launch patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers.
