According to Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam, this congress is of special significance in the context that the country is entering a new era of development. The requirements for institutional innovation, accelerating digital transformation and improving the quality of human resources set out new tasks for the Trade Union organization in general and the Vietnam Medical Union in particular.
The Congress continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers. At the same time, this is also an important milestone setting out the requirement to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation to adapt to the new context" - Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam shared.
What the Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union appreciates most from the spirit of the Congress is building the Trade Union organization to truly become a reliable bridge between the Party, State and union members and workers; taking union members as the center and all activities are aimed at the practical benefits of workers.
Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam expects that in the next term, the Trade Union organization will continue to innovate more strongly in a professional, in-depth and substantive direction. For health sector union members, what they need is not only spiritual encouragement but also specific policies on income, a safe working environment, reducing professional pressure, mental health care and creating conditions for long-term career development.
