Accordingly, the grassroots trade unions (CDCS) under the guidelines focus on organizing effective propaganda, launching emulation movements, works and activities to achieve achievements to welcome the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels, the 1st Congress of Can Tho City Trade Unions and the 14th Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions among female cadres, union members and workers, contributing to creating high consensus and unity in the whole society; Continue to implement guidelines for implementing the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" according to Instruction No. 980/HD-LDLDLD, dated January 21, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation.
The work of propagating the Party's guidelines and the State's laws related to female and child labor such as the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law, the Labor Code (amended); the Law on Marriage and Family, the Binh Dang Law, the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence and guiding documents for implementation, etc. needs to be promoted.
At the same time, raise awareness and skills of workers in caring for children, building happy families; effectively perform the role of representing, caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of female workers through dialogue at the workplace, negotiation, signing collective labor agreements; strengthen coordination, participate in inspection and supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies for female and child workers.
The affiliated trade unions need to pay attention to organizing practical activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of female union members, workers and children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the anniversary; Strengthen coordination with relevant departments and branches, the Women's Committee for the Southern Development, and the Women's Union at the same level in developing and implementing regulations on gender equality; Promote the application of digital transformation in women's union activities.
