On December 27, the Vung Tau City Labor Federation (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) organized the program "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025 for union members and workers in the area.
This is one of the key activities in taking care of Tet for union members and workers. Creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for union members and workers to welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025; towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term towards the 14th National Congress of the Party for the 2026 - 2031 term.
About 400 union members and employees attended the Tet Sum Vay program organized by the Vung Tau City Labor Federation. Thereby, union members and employees were able to watch art performances; Spring cheerleading programs; participate in quiz games with prizes; and draw lucky draws with 98 prizes...
The program also organized the awarding of 100 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances; 300 gifts for union members and workers participating in the program (worth 150,000 VND/gift, including necessities).
Receiving a support gift worth 1 million VND from the Vung Tau City Labor Federation, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phu (motorcycle union 2) said that his family is currently in a very difficult situation as his job as a motorbike taxi driver has a low income, the whole family is renting a room, and his wife has lost her ability to work due to a stroke.
"We are very grateful for the Union's attention and support during Tet, so that we can feel secure and welcome the new year more fully," said Mr. Phu.
Many other cases such as Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu (a janitor at a restaurant, currently living in a rented house, a single mother raising 2 children who are still in school); or Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phong (a hotel room attendant, raising an elderly mother with heart disease)... were also supported by the Vung Tau City Labor Federation in the Tet Sum Vay program.
According to the Vung Tau City Labor Federation, the unit has mobilized social resources to organize the program, bringing many practical benefits to union members and workers; through activities of caring for and practically supporting both material and spiritual life, it will help union members and workers celebrate Tet happily, warmly, happily...
